Overview
Certify your documents in just a few clicks. VIRIFI makes it simple to generate a blockchain-secured version of your PDF—verifiable anytime, anywhere.
This guide walks you through uploading, securing, and downloading your certified document to maintain authenticity and peace of mind.
Steps to Certify a Document
1. Log in and open your account overview
From your VIRIFI dashboard, go to the Overview tab. You’ll see your company profile, credit balance, and quick-action options: Certify a PDF Document, Sign a PDF Document, and Verify a Document.
2. Click “Certify a PDF Document”
Select Certify a PDF Document to start. You can drag and drop your PDF file into the upload box or click to browse your device.
3. Add more files (optional)
To certify multiple documents, click Add more PDFs.
You can upload up to 5 PDF files at once—each one will be certified as an individual file.
4. Choose your certification type
By default, the option Certify on behalf of VIRIFI will be selected.
If your KYB status is still Unverified, certification can still proceed, but verification status will appear on the output file.
5. Enable Digital Twin (optional)
Toggle Enable Digital Twin if you want your certified file to remain verifiable even after being printed or shared as a hard copy.
This adds a unique, traceable digital layer to the document.
6. Add password protection (optional)
If you’d like to restrict access to the digital twin or prevent others from downloading it, enter a password in the Password field.
7. Certify and download your document
Click Certify & Download. VIRIFI will instantly secure your document and trigger a download of the certified PDF.
8. Confirmation screen
Once completed, you’ll see a confirmation message:
Success! “We certified your document and triggered the download of the certified document for you.”
You can then select Download Again or Back to Overview.
💡 Tip
You can go ahead and revisit your History section at any time to view certified files and related actions.
⚠️ Important
For organizations, completing KYB verification is mandatory to obtain Verified Organization status.
